A potent mix of poetry and science, Suntonu. Moments ago, I came from outside taking photos of a bee flitting from one wood sorrel blossom to another.
I am listening to the book Beaks, Bones & Bird Songs by Roger J Lederer. The book is, of course, mostly about birds, but the most fascinating chapters to me are the ones about the diets of birds, particularly the insectivorous species and the connections between the supply of insects and the survival of birds and the survival of crops because of the insect-diet of birds. All interconnected.
Thank you, Suntonu, for sharing your lovely poem and a trove of important information.
