Actually, Captain Argentina fed the peanuts to the squirrels and chased away the two crows when they tried to get the peanuts. I liked the crows and convinced him to let them dine — we can always buy more peanuts. It’s been very comical to watch the crows — but mostly Carlitos — learn to trust Ben after being terrorized by him for so long. Now they are friends and I am happy.

Before Ben made friends with Carlitos, we watched Carlitos watch the squirrels with the peanuts. Often, they bury the peanuts rather than eating them. Carlitos would watch the burying process, wait for the squirrel to leave, and then go dig up the peanut! I love crows!! And, I am alright with being a cahootiteer with them.
