Ah, that clip from the Mary Tyler Moore show, Shaunta, flooded me of memories. At a time before recording shows to watch later was a thing, we planned our evenings around our favorite TV shows. It was always good fortunate when you had a line-up of favorites on the same night as I did on Saturdays with the MTM show. Made it worth while to leave that evening open for TV watching, ignoring invitations and other temptations to draw you from home.
