All very true. The Republicans were very different back then. Even W looks reasonable compared to the current crop of red reprobates!

Even my Republican clients, and all but one is Republican, have morphed into stingy, antagonistic bandits thinking only of their personal wealth. Most used to be fiscally conservative but moderately compassionate, believing charity and altruism are the bedrock of America. Now, their political opinions are mean-spirited and miserly.

It’s astounding and disgusting how the Tea Party, and whatever its despicable Russia-loving Doppelganger is now called, have turned decent people into lie-believing, lie-telling Trump sycophants.
