Amazing to me that you learned to drive at such an older age! We Americans don’t realize that our car culture is still very foreign in other lands.

I love that here in Florida — a very car-centric state — you have no problem taking a bus or walking long distances. We (native-born Americans) need to be more like that. I also love that, although your daughters succumbed to our car culture, your son has not and still doesn’t drive or own a car. Of course, he does live in NYC!
