America is killing us. You are tragically right about that, Tre. If we think we’re safe, there’s a strong possibility we will be proved wrong. I feel like our elected officials don’t give a shit about any of us, and that’s a terrible way to live. But, we eat a slice of cake, take a walk in nature, write in our journals, pen a poem, and move forward,

It breaks my heart that you are watching Jernee’s decline. We went through the same with our Chanelito and Pooh not too many years ago. Take care of her and take care of yourself. I worry how you will do once she passes over. I hope you have a good support system in place. But, you never know. When our Chanelito was diagnosed with cancer, we thought he was a goner, especially since he had all the typical signs of dog-aging. But, he lived 4 more years and still enjoyed his walks, belly rubs, and his meals. You never know.
