Americans are stupid — we think we can work through the virus. Even when my state was in quarantine, my work (bookkeeper) was considered essential. I worked as much if not more than before the quarantine and nothing has slowed since.

Fortunately, I am at an age when I can retire. Not quite ready to go 100% in retirement but am definitely planning a semi-retirement to start this fall.

Although Florida is the epicenter of the virus right now, our governor won’t think of closures. In fact, our schools are opening up this month.
