Anne, I've learned more European history from you than all my years in school, and you make it so much more interesting!

I am not religious but sometimes find religious locations that fill me with peace. One such place is St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Manhattan. A hidden gem. Barely noticeable from the street but gorgeous, without being ostentatious, inside, it is a haven of peace. Each time we visit the city, we must also visit St. Francis, either to sit in the quiet or to attend a service. That is the only place I willingly attend Mass!
