Anu, I so appreciate the mention! For me, Medium is more about community than anything else and my personal publication, Weeds & Wildflowers, is my home in that community. I want to greet each visitor personally and let them know I appreciate that they stopped by and left a gift of their writing. I was to encourage and uplift.

I try to do the same for publications that I co-edit, although my engagement isn't as consistent in those but I try my best.
