Ben and I watched a PBS program today about cats and a section was devoted to how they differ from dogs. We laughed at how spot-on it was in describing the attitudes of our cats versus our dog.

They bot have qualities that I adore - the independence of cats mellowed with their sensual affection and the in-your-face devotion of dogs, filled with tail-wags, face licks, and general joy.
