Betsy, I never saw kudzu until I moved from Florida to Georgia in the 70s. It was pervasive in Georgia. Almost frightening. Entire forests engulfed in those vines.

Now that I am back in Florida, I still don't see it around here. Perhaps The Panhandle area of the state has it? Not sure. I rarely go there.
