Cheater đ But, yes, they are beautiful wherever they bloom. Last year at this time, my bushes were black sticks from the weeks of hard freezes we had in January. This year, the leaves are still intact and blooms are appearing. I honestly didnât think they survived last winter.
Itâs been a mild winter this year. No hard freezes and very few nights that reached 32 degrees.
Our azaleas have been in full bloom for a couple of weeks. Now the dogwoods and redbuds are blossoming. Certainly hope we donât have a surprise late winter freeze!
