Conversation with my husband :

Ben: That package my niece and sister said they were sending arrived today.

Me: What did they send you?

Ben, looking dejected: Me? Nothing for me. (Tears form in his eyes.) A pair of sandals from Argentina for you. Nothing for me, only shoes for you, as if you need another pair of shoes!

Me: How sweet of them!

Ben: But what about me?! I’m related to them, we share the same blood. They should send presents to me, not you!

Me: But, they like me better.

Ben, with resignation: Well, that’s true.

Me: So did your mom.

Ben: Now wait a minute! Not my mother! You can claim my sister and niece but not my Mami.

As for royalty: Ben may not have royal blood but he often acts like a spoiled princess ;) Does that count?
