Dan, I particularly like the photo of the juvenile blue jay - I've only seen adult jays. Also, the close-up of the juvenile cardinal illustrates the early blending of their more muted colors.

Now that Ben is in better health, I hope to get out for more birding. My summer was lost to caregiving.
