Definitely looks like an alien, Lynne! I saw something similar in a hospital parking lot not long ago. It was a different sort of moth, though I can't recall the name, but still looked just as alien as yours. I have a fondness for moths and enjoy reading about them. Crazy creatures, aren't they?
