Eclectic - that's the word for this piece, Penny. Love the funky lighthouse story and the flowers are beautiful, even the dead ones, although they're also very Halloweeny. How strange that your flowers topple over. They look like they've gone to bed, waiting for a sheet or blanket to cover them.

We never really get dead flowers like the ones you and the others capture. Ours don't dry out and stay attached like that. They droop and fall while still looking half-alive or if they're killed by a freeze, because many of our flowers make it until deep winter, and turn black and look more rotten than dead. Certainly not picture worthy. But I'm inspired to look more carefully. Maybe I'll come across some dead Halloweeny flowers to post!
