Elizabeth, this is my first pepper of the season, a Holy Mole. Not a good photo — too much morning sunlight. I also have a new variety called Chile Brojo in bloom. I hadn’t heard of it before but it’s supposed to be very hot. My third plant is the common, but versatile, jalapeno.
Once my daughter and grandchildren move this summer I will be the only consumer of hot peppers in my household so I didn’t plant as many as I wanted to. I always think I will dry or freeze the ones I can’t eat fresh, but I never do.
