Excellent photography essay, Shruthi. Some people think a camera detracts from the present moment, from real life, but I find that it enhances my awareness in the now. I see what I would not see If a camera wasn't present. I am more aware of patterns, light, shadows, and colors when I have camera in hand. You appear to be the same.
