Fascinating article, Susie, and so encouraging to know about the baby beaver and this conservation plan. We don't have beavers in my area of Florida or the southern half of the state but they are residents in the far northern area and in the Panhandle. I used to live in Maine where beavers were numerous. I saw many beave dams on the river that traversed my step-grandfather's farm. Amazing creatures!
