Morning coolness continued for another day. I left for work later than usual, treating myself to some extra time at home after finishing a big project last night.
The chair looked lonely in the yard, forlornly waiting for spring, missing its less hardy mates donated to someone who has the talent and time to fix their cracked legs and backs. When weekends are no longer work days, I will purchase new companion chairs for my solitary green chaise lounger. Right now, I wish I could sit in the chaise, warm in the morning sun, and listen to the sandhill cranes that fly in groups over our house, headed north for the summer.
