Finally, Wade! I am so pleased to have this published. The sentiment is so apropos at this time while many are unwillingly home from work, taking a good gander at their personal space, realizing they haven’t really seen it in months, perhaps years, as they rushed to and from work, the gym, children’s activities, school, and so many other forms of busyness. I know many, including myself, who are purging and cleaning and organizing during this gift of time.
Mind you, I am still working but less. For example, I am not working today but my biggest client gave me a secure laptop and wants me to be available remotely. Ah, that expectation gave me reason to look — really look — at my home office space and desk and, believe me, without the veil of busyness, it was not a pretty sight! So, here I am, discarding, recycling, organizing, and making space. Much has accumulated. Decisions being made of what can go — sentimental or not — and what can stay. Definitely, beguiling clutter!
