For so long, I was co-parenting with my daughter, merging the roles of grandmother and mother. Being so intimately involved in the raising of my grandchildren and now having them so far away and beyond my daily influence, I feel disconnected and am unable to help as I did for do many years. Haven’t quite gotten the hang of being a long-distance grandparent.
