Good morning, Brett. My work/life balance is definitely not in balance and never has been! For most of my career, I worked 50 to 65 hours a week. Now, I range 40 to 50 and hope to decrease more in the near future. More time at home means a better balance between hubby, pets, chores, and writing. I am very fortunate though because my retired husband does nearly all the cooking, maintains the kitchen, handles trash and recycling, does all the laundry, and walks our 3 dogs when I am at work. And, he understands that writing is important to me.
I hope you both continue writing and being supportive of one another so we have the pleasure of your contributions here on Medium.
