Ha! This is perfect, Louise! Captain Argentina and I were talking yesterday about all the “new” people we see walking, many more than the 2 dozen normally strolling about, most with dogs. Now the sidewalks are frequented by neighbors previously only spotted scurrying to and from their cars or ones never sighted before. Those of us with dogs in townhomes already were walking often, but now those in homes with big backyards are also walking — people and dogs we’ve never seen before.

I imagine that the dogs unaccustomed to walking are wondering what the heck is going on and those, like the ones you mentioned, who were walked 2 or 3 times a day are exhausted from walking 5, 6 or 7 times a day! I’ve seen parents walking a dog and then a short while later, their kids walking the same dog.

At least everyone is getting exercise and fresh air — some for the first time!!
