How annoying!! Why didn't the nurses stop her from using her phone's speaker?

When we got there, it was half full. I was put in bed number 5. My neighbour in number 4 was completely helpless, and complained incessantly, and loudly, both to any handy nurses or to someone on her iPhone, which she had on speaker even though they were supposed to be asleep in that ward.👿
