How brilliant to use your shadow as the subject of your photos and the writing prompt, Barbara!!

I am fascinated with shadows as well, but not mine as much as the shadow's of what grows in nature. In fact, when I am taking pictures, my shadow often appears where it shouldn't, causing me great displeasure!

But, now, you have motivated me to see my shadow differently, even as an accompaniment to my photo. Hmm, I may have to play with that idea . . .

And, you certainly got it right that there is nothing more hush than a shadow. Perhaps, your shadow doesn't qualify as solo but definitely as a duo!
