How interesting the way you found yourself as a photographer on this journey. The idea of finding your distance is fascinating. I’ve never thought of photography quite like that. Yet, I think of my granddaughter who is nine and who takes incredibly creative and courageous closeups, so close the subject of the photo is often transformed into something new. While I stand back, observing from afar, perhaps photographing from that distance, perhaps going closer, but I always start from a distance as though I need the broad picture before I can see the tiny pieces of that composition.
