How synchronistic that you submitted this poem now, Christine!

First, I see chicory flowers all the time and never knew what they were! Thank you for solving that mystery. The photo you took is so soft, gentle, and pure. I love it. There is a warm innocence to it.

Second, at midnight, my welcome-to-October post will publish and it is all about color in autumn. And, specifically mentions the colors, like blue, that are not necessarily associated with autumn or October but are just as seasonal in their appearances. This poem could be a response to the October writing prompt!
