I agree with Sherry, Harper - tough to read and tougher to know how true it is.

One of my clients and I were talking Wednesday afternoon about how isolated we are in our city. Sure, there are people suffering, but nothing like you see in South Florida, California, Texas, or dozens of other places. Our unemployment figures are higher than usual but no astronomical.

We forget about the tragic impacts the pandemic and the lack of governmental assistance has had on millions of Americans. My client and I both donate to food charities and we have people in our communities and in our own families that we are helping, but we still feel far removed from the harsh realities of American life.
