Your firm shuts down for 10 days for Christmas and New Year's in a country that's mostly Hindu? I can't imagine that. Our "Christians" are so besotted with Christmas but many are lucky to get Christmas Day off. Because New Year's Day is a Saturday this time, most offices didn't get a holiday at all. My largest client office was open all day on Friday (New Year's Eve) and I worked last evening until 8:15 pm and will work all day today and tomorrow. No holiday around here!
