I am inspired to do the same, Shaunta! When my grandchildren moved far away last year, I purchased artist notebooks for each of us with the intention that we would use them creatively and share with one another — a way to stay close with so many miles between us. My granddaughter is the only one who has really used her notebook. Not the creative sort, my grandson expressed his reluctance from the beginning. I truly intended to use mine but every time I reached for it, my missing-them-pain overwhelmed me and I laid it back on the shelf. I believe it would make a perfect Commonplace Book!
