I am not a fan of New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, or New Year’s resolutions and, after 62 years of living, most advice columns seem repetitious and often disconnected from real life. Your article is none of those. I found it refreshingly different. Rather than advice and goals for the start of a new year, it was clear and precise life information, exactly what we should be taught in elementary school to prevent us from screwing up our lives in adulthood.
