I am so sad that you had that experience, Ré. It’s heartbreaking when those decisions are completely out of your control.

As sad as I am for me and for the children, because I know how much they miss me, I am glad they are in a real family now with a caring and supportive stepfather and that they and my daughter no longer struggle financially. I just wish they could be closer — a place within a reasonable driving distance would be nice.
