I don’t know that I am in a dark place. I think I was when I was hoping and wishing for something other than what is. To me, trying to live within the darkness without hoping for something different provides a certain light.

I don’t know — 65 years of figuring out how to stop being crushed by disappointments. Maybe, I found the answer. Maybe, not.

I do know I am in a very tired place.
