I figured you did know the process since you’ve been writing here for quite a while, so I was a little confused.

I do know I can choose a different format for my publication but don’t have the time for individual selection and really prefer not to make those decisions. I want each piece to be given the same consideration without my personal preference being involved.

I mostly publish in order of when the submission was received, only occasionally changing the order due to multiple pieces from the same person or repetitions in topics.

I also try to limit daily publications to no more than five, preferably, four, giving each a chance to spend a few hours as the lead piece.

What writer guideline rules are you talking about exactly? The only changes of which I am aware concern the Medium Partner Program, which have certainly put a dent in my earnings!
