I have a hundred gluten-free recipes and have tried almost as many GF packaged foods - dislike almost all of them. Fortunately, my GI doctor says my wheat allergy has nothing to do with my colitis and she recommended introducing small amounts back into my diet if it will help me eat more and gain back some weight. Not a big Italian meal with pasta and bread but much smaller amounts. Started doing that this week with no ill effects.
I never heard of kidney stones caused by wheat!
