I imagine the fogs of London and around Ontario are similar to what I experienced in Maine, Louise. That kind of fog I don't like - so scary. I used to work the night shift at a nursing home west of Portland, Maine and would drive to my apartment in those early-morning pea-soup fogs. Once, driving very slow and peering ahead, I saw something tall and dark but couldn't see clear enough until I was almost on top of a moose! Those suckers are mean! I turned off my engine and sat as quietly as I could, barely breathing. He stared and stared at me, walked a few feet closer, then, thank god, lost interest and sauntered away. One of the scariest experiences of my life!
