I love strawberry-rhubarb pie from my time living in Maine where rhubarb grew wild in the backyard. Another pie that Ben would never eat. He thinks rhubarb is red celery!
Scones are not difficult to make, although the blending of the butter into the flour can be time-consuming and very tired. But, I found a simple scone recipe and the scones are very close to traditional ones. Only three ingredients - flour, whipping cream, and Sprite - yes, Sprite! And, an egg wash for the top. That's it.
