I love wildflowers and have several volunteers in my garden that I allow to thrive next to what I purposely planted. Some are officially weeds but still beautiful.

In my state of Florida, the department that maintains the state roads often scatters wildflower seeds in grassy medians and along roadways. Alas, these flowers have already withered in our summer heat so I can't provide photos. But, they are glorious in the springtime!

Anne, would you allow me to save one of your photos to use as a Weeds & Wildflower's banner? I change the banner each month and always give photographic credit. I am thinking of the blue flower photo. I probably wouldn't use it until spring or summer of next year. Let me know if I have your permission to download and save it. Thanks!

This photographic piece was a perfect post for Weeds & Wildflowers ♥

I was always a writer but lived in a bookkeeper’s body before I found Medium and broke free — well, almost. Working to work less and write more.
