I think it's the opposite here, Anne.

I don’t know why, but here in Germany, society believes a pregnant woman shouldn’t do anything. And if I say anything, I mean anything. Whatever I do, someone tells me to stop or at least say “be careful”.

I think it's the opposite here, Anne. Pregnant women are expected to continue as they did before getting pregnant. Very little accommodations are made for them.
