I think you are just fine, Ronald, other than those hill-tumbling bruises. And, your are damn lucky!
I fell recently, too, but not as spectacularly as you. We were in the midst of an afternoon-long series of storms, which blew rain unto our porch. I went to the porch for some reason or another, avoiding the rain puddles on the painted concrete, but I guess the entire floor was wet from humidity if not from splashed rain. As I walked through the patio doors to the living room, the damp soles of my shoes slipped - one more than the other. I was in an awkward, slow descent with one foot remaining solid on the tile floor and the other slowly sliding in the opposite direction. The fall seemed to last 10 minutes. Ben started to come to my assistance but said he could see I was "controlling" my fall and was afraid he might make it worse if he intervened. I gradually sank to the floor with a thud. I was more scared than injured. Only a little bruise on the hip that was the first body part to meet the floor. You and I were both lucky!
