I think your poem speaks to the Time of Corona very nicely, Jane. Although this time of confinement has triggered the worst in some relationships with abuse on the rise, it has also brought couples and families closer. I know my husband and I spend more time together walking and sitting on the porch while talking and enjoying nature. I see the same all around me.

Your poem, although not about this particular odd time in our lives, does speak of:

Nothing stays the same, and yet
Things do not fall apart when love
And fire, as from the sun’s own flares
Feeds tendrils mapping me to you.
