I used to be a concert goer to, Ann (Surprise!), back when UF had multiple concerts a year and not just music for the college-age residents. I don't know what changed but many years back, the concerts trickled to almost none. Ben wasn't a concert fan. He disliked the over-the-top noise and hoopla, but he and I enjoyed a few years of attending smaller venues for local artists. Of course, they came to a screeching halt 2 1/2 years ago. I really miss it. Not just the music but the community connection that local musicians create. Still not comfortable enough to go to those shows that have been resurrected. Everything is home-based now - music, movies, food. Our world is annoyingly small.
