I used to live in Georgia, Patrick. Not sure where you are located but I was in Marietta. It was hotter in the summer than Florida! At least, we have breezes here. I remember the Georgia air being hot, humid, and sweltering. Then, we had the joy of ice storms in the winter!

Yes, I walk every day. Even when it's cold, which it was earlier this week and will be this coming weekend, I can bundle up and accomplish my 2 miles.

Oddly, I would love to learn to do some woodworking. At my age that would be a challenge! My father was a carpenter, contractor, and boat builder. He didn't think his daughters needed to learn any of his woodworking skills. At the time, neither did I. Now, I wish I had. I'd love to create using wood. Maybe, after I am fully retired and when/if this pandemic ever ends, I'll see if there are any community classes for woodworking.

I was always a writer but lived in a bookkeeper’s body before I found Medium and broke free — well, almost. Working to work less and write more.
