I used to make French toast often. Ben and the grandkids loved it. But, the bread made his blood sugar spike, so French toast became a thing of the past. But, your recipe is perfect, Louise. The slices are cooked to perfection.
I wish I could find egg bread around here. There used to be a bakery in our city that sold it (now closed) and a restaurant (now closed) where we often went for breakfast used the egg bread from that bakery for their French toast. So good!
