I was fortunate to have a mild experience with menopause, Ann. I can't imagine what you and others went/go through. Mine started in my late 40s. I actually hoped for some of the heat since I was ALWAYS cold, even here in hot and humid Florida. But, I didn't get much of that - actually, hardly any. Although, interestingly, I ended up warmer when I emerged. I'm still more cold-natured than most but I don't freeze when the temperature is below 80 like I used to. All-in-all, menopause was such a relief/blessing.
