I was standing up for truth, justice, civil rights, and equality. I was and am denouncing racism, white supremacy, misogyny, sexism, homophobia, police brutality, and hateful rhetoric. I stand for those our administration seeks to silence and disenfranchise.

I stand for American values. Maybe not the ones that exist now but the ones that should and must exist if we are to survive.
