In general, people are two darn nosey with strangers or vague acquaintances. A bank I frequent for one of my clients seems to choose tellers based on their ability to ask uncomfortable, unnecessary, and nosey questions.

I’ve been asked about my plans for the weekend, what gifts I received for Christmas, if I have children and/or grandchildren, where I was born, when I plan on taking a vacation and where I’ll go, if I’m married, if I’m divorced, and on and on. Keep in mind this isn’t even my bank, it’s my client’s!

People lack common sense and filters.
