In my previous life, I/we had a waterbed. Yes, I admit it, and I loved it. Actually, I loved the waves — they rocked me to sleep. And, the warmth. But, in those long-ago days, we lived in a house with no central heat so the warmth on winter nights was much needed and appreciated.

I simply haven’t seen waterbeds for sale in years. We used to have 3 waterbed stores here — now, nary a one. Fortunately, I no longer need one because sleeping with Captain Argentina is like nesting close to a furnace AND our house has very efficient central heat and air. Life is better ♥
