Interesting piece, Gail. I would not be able to write so coherently at such an early time of day, unless I stayed up all night and 4:45 am was simply the continuation of a very long day!

I am a believer of reincarnation. Only afterlife scenario that ever made sense to me.

A yoga mat is an altar to me. Not for worship but for self-reflection and spiritual connection. You seem to agree.

Thanks for inviting the Medium population to join you in this challenge. Have to admit, I did not write last night as planned. Our dinner party ended too late, and I was exhausted. Knowing I have an easy morning of clients, I wrote after breakfast, before my brain was fully functional. Sat down without a clue what I would write. My first passing thought was of the two ladies who were at our dinner party and who used to be our neighbors. Subject found!! The words flew after that. Twenty minutes was just enough to get them down. Add two minutes of editing for minor fast-typing errors — probably did not catch them all! — and I was done!!

I was always a writer but lived in a bookkeeper’s body before I found Medium and broke free — well, almost. Working to work less and write more.
